The mansion that used to belong to the pop star Prince in El Paraiso Hills near Marbella is up for grabs at a cool €5.6M, two million more than what it was listed for in 2004.
The villa was acquired by the singer, composer and music producer in 1998 as a wedding gift for his wife Mayte García, who sold it after their marriage ended in 2006.
The six-bedroom villa is now on the market again through the luxury real estate specialists Engel & Völkers.
Augusto Vidal, Sales Advisor at Engel & Völkers Marbella West, told OPP Connect, “The property served Prince at the time as a great source of inspiration for his artistic output. The villa still conveys this special creative charm to this day.”
“Known as one of the most privileged residences in Marbella, the Villa bursts with charm and character and is unquestionably unique not only in terms of the architectural style and location but also its history, with the added value of being a former celebrity home, the flamboyant music legend Prince, who originally acquired it in 1998 as a wedding gift for his then wife, and was the inspiring scenario for many of his beautiful songs.”
If you still need a reason for this one, see the listing details that describe how the villa “villa lies within 6.000 m2 matured landscaped beautiful gardens with subtropical trees, that incorporate a tennis court, outdoor heated pool and extensive terraces – all of which can be illuminated when the sun goes down, perfect for those evening soirees”.
