The evening will start at 20:00 with traditional Argentinian gaucho music. The taster menu is sure to appeal to the most sophisticated diners, with acclaimed Peruvian chef Giacomo Muzio’s speciality, fresh, zingy ceviche and a glass of cava to get the party started.

Over the last 12 months, the restaurant has built a loyal following for their Latin inspired fusion dishes, reflecting the South American roots and love of local Spanish produce. This event is designed to thank everyone for their support and to highlight the diversity of food entertainment from the Spanish speaking world.

Owned by Argentinian husband and wife team Gustavo Kiguelmam and Laura de Luca, proprietors of ‘La Red’ one of Marbella’s most successful beachfront restaurants, Restaurante El Banco offers a completely different dining experience; intimate, relaxed and a real taste of Latin America.

Occupying the former premises of a bank, the restaurant is cosy yet surprisingly spacious, with 40 tables, the original safe serves as a quirky wine cellar and the vault is now a subterranean social room offering lessons in tango, salsa, zumba or even yoga classes. Upstairs the social vibe continues, with events such as an English-Spanish conversation club held over breakfast on Wednesday mornings.

The owner Gustavo is proud to celebrate this milestone, adding that, “Everyone who walks through the door is guaranteed a warm Latin American welcome… dance, talk, laugh and of course dine on some of the best food in Marbella”.
